Rachael Osovich is a professional MMA fighter American who competes as a Flyweight. She's been fighting as a pro since 2017, at both the UFC and Invicta Fighting Championships. Rachael Ostovich Biography Rachael Ostovich was born January 25, 1991, from Hawaii United States. Rachael is is an American MMA athlete who is a Flyweight fighter who competes at the highest levels. She has been a professional fighter since 2017. After her UFC announcement, she hasn't joined another MMA promotion. She has however, competed in an Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship tournament in 2021. Ostovich took on Karine Gevorgyan in December 1 of 2017 at The Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale. In the first round, she managed to prevail by submission. Ostovich met Montana De La Rosa in The Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale. In the third round, she lost to an unarmed rear choke. Rachael Osovich and Paige VanZant were scheduled to take on UFC on ESPN+ 1 on 19 January 2019. On November 18 2018 it was reported that Ostovich was brutally attacked resulting in an injury to her orbital bone that was fractured and other injuries and that as a result of her injuries she withdrew from fighting VanZant. On the 27th of November, the fight against Ostovich as well as VanZant confirmed on January 19 2019 after Ostovich's physician approved her fight. Ostovich lost in the second round by Armbar Submission. Rachael is set to fight with Veronica Macedo on UFC on ESPN+ 14 on Tuesday 10 August 2019. Polyana Viana replaced Rachael, however, the reason for this is not known. Ostovich and Shana dobson were due to meet on 23rd of February, 2020 at Auckland, New Zealand at UFC Fight Night Night 168, but this was cancelled. The USADA announced on June 18, that Ostovich was handed a yearlong penalty by USADA following her positive test for the ostarine substance in the 3rd of January, 2020. Ostovich was suspended for 8 months after testing positive for GW1516 on January 3 2020. The ingredient that was considered prohibited was identified, however it was not stated on the label. Gina Mazany will fight Blaydes at ESPN on the 28th of November 2020. The fight ended with Mazany being kicked out the match in the third round with body-kicks. Ostovich lost her UFC contract on the 7th of December 2020.
